Forget “When it rains, it pours” and forget “It’s raining cats and dogs!”
My daughter and I finished her Science Fair project and I couldn’t even go because I had a quiz in Statistics that I failed. I should have just missed the quiz!
Another reason I couldn’t make the Fair was because of my Management class and how he’s adamant with checking our names on the roll like we’re in 3rd grade. He didn’t even check the roll.
Oh, ANOTHER reason why I should have just stayed home is because I woke up happy, THEN my period comes. Periods are painfully sweet, yanno? It’s a sweet to find out you’re not pregnant by enduring pain. So, while enduring this pain, I had to walk what seemed like 5 miles to class and then back.
Oh it gets BETTER!.
I get to work, clock out for lunch and the truck WON’T start. I figured it was nothing and just ate at the cafe inside the building. I clock out to go home and the truck STILL won’t start. It takes me 30 mins to find the number to Roadside Rescue with Sprint. AAA comes and they say it could be the battery or the fuel pump. I had to get the truck towed home. The worst feeling in the world is the go to bed hungry because you can’t drive to the store and get something to eat or open your fridge because you haven’t bought groceries. The irony is that I had planned on going after I got off from work. FML!
I couldn’t even go and pick up C.W. because his car needs a radiator which marks a week since the last time we’ve seen each other. Everything is getting in the way of us. Is this a sign?
I took a cab to work this morning. I made it in the parking lot at 8:04 AM and I was supposed to be at work for 8:00 AM. Thank God for the 7 minute grace period. Sorta. I had to run up 6 flights of stairs JUST to make it on time. FML, AGAIN!
So, why am I still smiling? Why am I still happy? Your guess is as good as mine!
There’s a bunch of other shit that has occurred early this week that I care not to mention because of that exact reason — I DO NOT CARE. I’m STILL standing! I am amazed at my strength! Just call me Wonder Woman. Hell, even Superwoman will suffice!!!!!!!!

LOL!!!! Gurl, I got my period on the first day of my new job last Wedesday!!!! Thank God For Midol EXTENDED RELIEF!!!! I ain’t feel one cramp during my cycle!!!! PAIN FREE!!! But wait it gets better since I didn’t use the bathroom over the seven hours that I was there tranining PLUS doing my own job on my own – the first night…at the end of the night ((((((GUSH)))))) Am like “OH FUCK!!! I NEEDA BE OUT ASAP OR ELSE…!!!!” I won’t go into detail but lets just say – I had a lil Niagara Falls going on in my undergarments…Thank god it was the end of my shift!!!! After that incident I made sure to go to the bathroom every two hours the next day at work to avoid any embarrassment…
So, that shit is done and over with. Thinking am HOME FREE – I ROYALLY FUCKED UP AT WORK yestuday – even though am new and this chick who worked there corrected me when I goofed up…she made a big deal out of it as if I killed someone. Yes it was a big deal but at the same time come on – am new. Good thing my supervisor is very understanding and he was like is not the end of the world and how I should not worry. PLUS he told me over the next few weeks he won’t expect 100% of me seeing as am new and he expect me to goof up every now and than since am new and all. So, that helps out a great deal.
That sux bout ya car though – damn!!! You shoulda order some Dominoes Pizza or Pizza Hut gurl!!!! Don’t starve to death!!!I woulda got me some Pizza Hut or something!!!

I know EXACTLY what you mean! LOL. I’ve had those moments because I sit down ALL day and when I do go to lunch or something, I make sure I go to the bathroom first because I KNOW what’s coming! LOL.
That chick seems like she is just a total bitch. As long as your manager is cool with you and is understanding, she can go and suck a lemon!
You make my life sound like a vacation! Just one of those days when the problems seem to be endless. You always know there’s some good that’s going to come from it. Hope everything gets back on track.

I guess it was just one of those days. And I don’t think it’s a sign that you and C.W. haven’t seen each other, all it is is a test to see how much you will endure to get it to work out! I hope that everything is going back to normal nonetheless. I know exactly how it is to have one day where everything just goes wrong.

I hate waking up to a beautiful day, and the period comes to kick you down. But its always a stress reliever to know there isnt a bun in the oven, thats for sure!

1. You had time to spend with your little girl on her Science project.
2. You’re not preggo!
3. At least your job has a cafe to eat at so you didn’t miss lunch.
4. Thank God for AAA. It costs a fortune to get a tow.
5. I’m sure you didn’t starve when you went home for dinner
6. Not seeing C.W. just makes you too miss each other more and cherish your time together.
7. You had money to catch a cab and wasn’t “late” to work.
So I see why you are still smiling Wonder Woman. Even though everything seems to be going wrong, it isn’t really that bad.
