3 BR/2.5 TH — sm yrd — all appl incl.
Yep! You have read correctly. I have moved into a 3BR/2.5 BA Townhouse and I absolutely love it. I love it so much that I’m actually interested in making this my first “home” purchase. The owner is adamant in selling the unit real soon so just as God has blessed me with this find, maybe it was for future satisfaction as well. If you have read my post Humble Abode?, you can understand how I can move after only 6 months of occupancy. Wouldn’t a $562 water bill be your determination to GTF? C.W. came by and helped me move my bed in. (Of course, right? LOL) He was also impressed and asked me what I was going to do with all the space. I’m still trying to figure that out. He’s coming by today to accent a few of the living room walls, and the wall by the fireplace.
@Bella Rose He’s definitely a sweetheart!
The pictures below were taken on my shitty phone so please excuse the quality until I charge my Sony Mavica. *hehe

As far as decorating goes, I’ve set a $1000 budget since I’m paying the rent in advance for the term of my lease which is 3 months. Maybe afterwards, I’ll consider purchase. That’s such a big decision but since the offer has presented itself, why not take advantage of it while I can with the stipends from school? Ehh, we’ll see. I’ll add more quality pictures later! Also, you all are welcome to purchase items from my decor compilation via walmart.com! LMAO! #justsaying..

Wow. The place looks very spacious & nice. I’m still in the process of looking for something in this shitty City Of Brotherly love! So far, I’ve been liking a couple of places, it’s just hard to decide.

That’s how I was. I looked at SO many places, even houses, but I wanted to lean towards an actual complex with management because of my previous experiences with home owners who decide to rent their house! FYI — There’s a reason why they are no longer living there and it’s not always a good reason! LOL.

GIRLLLLLLLLLLL thats such a nice place, just from the photos. I can tell your in love with it already lol, that’s a good sign! I’m in the process myself of finding a new spot. Wish me luck lol. What are you going to do with all that extra space?! you know the kids gun go crazy right LOL! Take care mama.
[Reply]
They are going crazy already! I walked upstairs to my son’s room and he literally wriggled and whined until I put him down to crawl around, since he’s not walking. He even crawled down the hall to my daughter’s room and they played in her walk-in closet. They love the place. We are all very happy here!
I wish you luck with your quest. I know how hard it is to find a place that you’re comfortable in and that suits you. You’ll find something though. Be patient. =)

Lisa, God knows my heart. He knows my needs and he has blessed me with what I need. He knew my living situation and how much I hated dealing with unprofessionalism and how I just wanted to be happy within 4 “solid” walls. I’m just here enjoying what God is bestowing upon me. I am so grateful!

I am glad to hear you like your new townhouse! It definitely looks spacious, and a $1000 decorating budget is absolutely reasonable. You can do a lot with that budget. Make sure you update us on how you decorate! :)

GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!!! I am so happy to see that he has TRULY BLESSED you indeed!!! I always belived in that saying “God Works In Mysterious Ways” as it it SOOOO TRUE
My mom says that alot – “God knows your heart and needs and will continue to bless you with fulfilling your needs and will continue to watch over you”…whenever we pray together as a family she is always looking out for our family and friends when she mention them in her prayers with this “God you know their needs” meaning that he knows all our needs and she believes he will help us out in fulfilling our most needed needs.
Anyways, I won’t preach…*LOL* You are very lucky!!! *WARM HUGZ* And am sure things will continue to get better for you hun – I believe God will make sure that this year all your needs will be met…All the best hun! *Warm hugz*

Whoa, I like you new place girl, it is spacious! I think I would really enjoy having all of that room for me to decorate! :-D I’ve always wanted a big house; sometimes I hopelessly stare at houseplans online just dreaming about my dream house…yeah…anyway.
I seen your comment about Southeastern, I wrote one back on there but I am not sure if it posted correctly…FAIL. Well I can’t wait to see more pictures of the house! And yeah Walmart does have really nice stuff! :-D

Awesome! I’m happy for you! It looks extra spacious and I loooove big bathrooms and bedrooms, plus walk-in closets! What more can you ask for? I definitely know what it’s like living in a crappy place that’s not worth the money! Like my last apartment, rent was $890 for a 2bd 1bth in the freaking hood! I had no idea it was the hood! lol. I can’t wait to move again, I’m definitely going to try my best to get what I want, I don’ thave a problem forking up the money if it’s worth it. You should also try a dollar store like Family Dollar & Dollar General for small accents to accessorize your house. I always say I’m going to decorate, but I have no idea what I really want to do, I just like heavy duty furniture and cherry wood, like a curio, stuff of that nature to make my house feel like it’s full and not empty. I hope you and the babies enjoy your new home :-)
Oh, and I tried to comment on the last post about a million times and it wouldn’t go through :-(

Aww i happy for you. I Love space places. I hope all goes
well for you in your new home and possible future first home purchase.

Whoa! $890 and in the hood? LOL. That is too much!
I’ve already created my shopping lists for the stores that I’m going to. I don’t plan on spending $20 on a candle or $50 on a picture frame when they’re $5 and $10 at a dollar store. I absolutely LOVE candles and I plan on having them EVERYWHERE in the house and they’re $1 at Dollar Tree! LOL.
I also like cherry wood and any type of dark wood.

I almost choked on my own spit when you mentioned that water bill. O_O Oh no ma’am!!!
But your new living space is theeeee bomb!!! Im happy for you and Im sure you & the kiddies are going to be quite comfortable there. :P
I swear…I see someone who looks like you at least once a week. Kinda freaky LOL but not REALLY since i know you live in the BR area..ever travel to Gonzales?
[Reply]
You think you choked? Hell, I almost died! But, I had to pay it yanno? I don’t frequent Gonzales a lot unless it’s at the Tanger Outlet. But, I haven’t been out there in a while. I plan on going after income taxes!
;)

DAMN, the water bill is crazy. Were you having a water balloon battle or something? Lol but seriously daaammmnnn.
Your place looks really big, I always loved townhomes :) good luck

Congratulations on your new place! That must feel so great, to have your own space like that. Go ‘head, lady. I can’t wait until I can make a post like this! Looks roomy enough for you and your kids, too.
And hell yeah for Wal-Mart, lol. People try to act like Wal-Mart doesn’t have nice stuff as far as furniture goes. It’s a good place to go when you’re on a budget. I used to work there so I have an extreme disliking for the company as a whole, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Im so proud of you the place looks great. You Moving on up to the eastside you finally got a piece of the pieeeeee!Congrads girl lol

Wow congratulations on the new home! I envy you. We’re still
waiting to hear from the bank on the house we’re bidding on.
If all goes well; we might move to Beaumont. Were it snows!
But I’m glad that you’re getting to move to somewhere you
love. I’m proud of you.

Too many people stunt on Wal-Mart like it’s not what’s up! LOL. I am an avid shopper and will continue to be as long as the prices remain the same for the children’s clothing and the t-shirts that are in my size. For my decorative side, Wal-mart can be rather expensive but they really have nice things! I am a Wal-Mart junkie! Beelevdat! LMAO!

LOL. Thanks Jaye! This was hilarious!
It took whole lot of trying, just to get up that hill! LOL
[Reply]
Wow! I hope everything goes well for you! I’ve always wanted to live where it snows but since we’ve been having snow out here in Louisiana for the last two years, I think I might just stay. I’ve considered moving to Texas. There are a lot of job opportunities for Computer Science majors. Keep God first. He knows what’s best! =)

Congrats on the house. Me and the fam are looking for a new place to move. We would love to buy, especially while prices lare done. We live in a small town and there are not many rentals. 3 bed 2-1/2 is wonderful.
