Facebook – REVAMP – NOW!
This is part of the reason why my visits to Facebook are VERY rare!
Facebook should strongly consider reverting back to it’s original format where only college students were allowed to join. While there are grown ass men and women that also type and speak liiyke DiSz cUz dey Tink it so fawkiin qKool nnd& Unniiqquuee, I honestly believe a little of this tom foolery will cease and they’ll take this shit BACK to myspace along with the tooted up booty shots, the profile pictures with guns, drugs, and money, and last but not least, the profile pictures with 30 different chicks and negroes throwing up gang signs like they have RA or some other form of arthritis.

What’s even more sad is these people choose to display their idiocy in such a way. I’m not one to always type properly all of the time and I cuss, also, but the things that I see typed make me wonder: 1. Why they are even on a computer? 2. What are these school systems teaching our children? 3. How did some of these grown people even graduate high school, if they even graduated?

This is exactly why the internet needs some type of limit. Some people just don’t need to be able to have something so public. They’re showing their idiocy to the world and looking like fools! It’s absolutely SAD.

thanks for the comment babes. believe it or not, the parents of that girl KNEW everything. they knew that the boy was 18. because before the girl was found dead he was actually living with them. how stupid?!?!?! I hope the parents realize where they’re mistake was. No you know what. Idk whether or not blaming the parents would be the ideal thing to do.. Idk it’s a screwed it situation that caused a very young innocent girl her life. Geez. They found her in a ditch. Sad yeah?
Well Facebook is just blahhh. I’d have to agree with Shannon on this one. Drama!!! I’m bittersweet with facebook to be serious. Idk.

Haha! I actually hide updates from people if I can’t stand how they type. The last thing I want to read after a day of working with 17 year old girls is, “HoNniE, Grl Plz. YoU Don’T KNo bOWt mE! FaH RILlz! ImMa KeEp On SHinNin!!”
Please. And I love how you were so eloquent in that conversation with, “Lil Mike From Tha Bottom” while he was talking like a caveman. :) How would he even think that’s how you snag a woman? What would the two of you even talk about? Lol, how real he is?

I wholeheartedly agree! I liked Facebook when it looked LESS LIKE TWITTER. The freakin’ uncontrollable newsfeed is killing me. I don’t want to see posts and announcements made by the bands that I listed or the pages that I liked. =/ I just wanted to be able to stalk my friends =P I think its awkward for people who AREN’T in college to join facebook. But then again, I’m just used to it being a college-exclusive thing…it was like..initiation to “being in college”. New freshman are just not going to feel the same.
There’s a certain level of slang that I’ll accept online but when I have trouble reading it…I just don’t get it. I mean, I use slang and curse and use short-hand type when it actually makes a word shorter…I don’t understand when people insert more 0′s and i’s for words to make them LONGER than they were supposed to be. *sigh*

Facebook is lame. I joined last December and I was pretty much glad I got bored real quick… (deactivated my account) As for LIL Mike… i’m laughing because of the conversation between you two. I’d expect his tone to change once you saw you don’t talk like that.

My sister's best friend is 26y.o. and type as such like that shit is cute; I see why she's single. Twitter is even worst! I'm starting to dislike it. I never liked Facebook to begin with, but that would be awesome if they only allowed .edu addresses only!

Facebook wasn’t always like this though. I mean, you had the occasional TyPeR wHoO tYpEd lIkE tHiS but they were apart of the minority rather than the majority. Then, you really didn’t have to deal with it because the status messages were a little bit different and didn’t allow so many characters. Now, you have people on there with paragraphs/mini blogs about “What’s on their mind?” and it hurts my asshole!
I agree with you – Twitter is much worst because it’s basically all about a “status” message and there’s nothing else that will divert your attention from that. At least facebook allows you to view pictures and other stuff – and sometimes, even that is an eyesore. SMH..
