I’ve finally escaped from the pile of debt and bills that had me bound by locks, chains, and every other restraining mechanism known to man. After literally pinching EVERY penny and stretching every dollar, I managed to indulge in the extra money that remains. Monies have miraculously appear, fathers are fulfilling their financial obligations, and I have a surplus of vitality and energy. I dare to question why as I’m too busy basking in the ambiance. God is G-O-O-D!

Despite the chance of rain in New Orleans, I’ve still made reservations–non-refundable reservations. I’ve requested a room on the highest floor, extra feather pillows, extra towels, and one huge king sized bed. I got a few outfits but I didn’t want to purchase too much because I wanted to do a little shopping out there. I still have to get a bathing suit. I saw a cute olive/shitty green bathing suit online that claimed it was stocked in the store and I was very disappointed to find that it wasn’t. As a result, after work I’ll be on a quest.. a quest to find a bathing suit that’ll cover my chunky ass.

Although I seriously miss my Exilim camera by Casio, I was able to find a camera that I am absolutely in heart with! It was a tough choice between Nikon and Canon–two companies with products of great quality. Even though the price of Kodak’s garbage cameras were enticing, I went with a Canon PowerShot A490.

This camera takes shots almost as good as my Sony Mavica for 1/3 of the price when it was originally purchased. The only thing I hate is the fact that the battery isn’t rechargable. But, I guess an easy fix was the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries that I purchased.

Canon PowerShot A490 + Extended Warranty + Batteries = $135.00.

Exilim, come home–you know you can’t Rome without Caesar. Does anyone know how much it would cost to put a missing ad on the back of a milk carton? #judgeme
