It’s been a minute since I’ve been sharing the occurrences of my life with the public. It feels a little awkward since my unexpected hiatus. So, where exactly do I begin?
The semester has ended and I’m grateful for that. It ended rather well despite all that I’ve had to deal with. My GPA for the semester was a 3.0 and considering my midterm grades, that was a HUGE improvement. I’m hoping my spring semester will be better. I’ve begun to really buckle down and put much more effort into my school work and I’m greatly satisfied with the results. It always leaves me with a feeling that I can do more. And well, I’m always reaching for greater heights.
Christmas is approaching and I was able to pick up a live, 7.5′ tree for $21. My kids are even more eager this year and it’s fun now that my son, Imari, has a better idea of what is going on around him. I wanted to start early this year in regards to my little family and I getting into the Christmas spirit. We have yet to decorate our tree, so we’ll probably get to it this weekend.
I’ve done more cleaning and donating to thrift stores in my area and I just feel like weights have been lifted. It feels good to be able to walk into my walk in closets and it just makes my life flow more smoothly when I take out the time to straighten things out. Maybe it’s just me, but cleaning is therapeutic for me. When my life seems to be going in two separate directions, I clean. It always works.
