I always tell myself that I’m going to blog more – or, I have this interesting subject that I’d like to write about but get too tired to do so. Time and energy seem to never be on my side no matter what methods I try. It’s no doubt about it – my life is pretty busy. I’m constantly trying to create some type of order in my life which sometimes, only causes me to stress out even more. But, I’m working on that.

The new semester has begun and I’ve scheduled 19 hours. I’m not sure what I was thinking, but it’s too late to turn back now at this point. I’m in the process of trying to create a schedule just so I won’t get too burnt out and exhausted before the semester even ends. So far, I’m doing ok.

I’ve missed reading a lot of your blogs and now since I have a new laptop, hopefully I’ll get the chance to reconnect and stay in touch with my favorite bloggers.

This is how I brought in the New Year.

With a sore throat and a stuffy nose.

I hardly ever get sick and I feel completely out of my element. I don’t sleep well because I can barely breathe and after tossing and turning so frequently, I wake up with a throat with so much pain I can’t even swallow. I manage to make it to the bathroom to get a dose of Chloroseptic, which by the way, feels like knives scraping my throat when I swallow the medicine.

The warm tea seems to help but I just want all of this to be over. This is not how I planned on spending the beginning of the year.
