Before Christmas arrived, my family, along with my BIL’s family, decided to take a trip up to Texas. His parents were celebrating their anniversary and we.. well, I wanted to see Texas because I had never been. And, since lodging and food was pretty much taken care of by my Broham, we headed out to his abode Friday morning and returned in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. Here are a few shots from the vacay, courtesy of me and the children of the family.

Nice family photos you’ve got there! I wish everyone in my family could be happy like yours. Our family always has to look at someone the wrong way or try to compete with another family members. It makes me sick to my stomach. This is why I no longer live in Ohio with them. This is another reason why I want to move even FURTHER away. Not really, but that’s my excuse! haha!

Dallas looks so nice! I’m glad you have real photos of Dallas so I can see the city from a personal experience and not just on Google. I think everyone has scared me away from Dallas though… It seems like there is just too much crime there. I want to be SAFE at all times, especially because I’m a scary cat =)

    I’m glad you enjoyed yourself!

Trust me, I have some family members just as you described. I just choose not to associate with them.

I can understand how you’d be a bit cautious of the amount of crime in an area, but Irving is a pretty good place to live, which is right outside of Dallas. It was extremely quiet where I was during my vacay.

I use a Nikon Coolpix L810 and I love it. I still want a Canon though.

And I had absolutely NO SHAME riding in that train slouched over. NONE.
