March was good to me. I stayed on track with a lot of my goals and even went into overdrive with a few. I’m quite proud with my consistency. I’ve been physically active in the gym as well as out. My coworkers and I are making a habit of weekly volleyball games — sometimes twice a week or more. And since I absolutely LOVE volleyball, I’m finding it easier to get past the soreness and remain physical when it’s time to head to the gym.

My sister’s wedding has come and gone and it was truly a delightful moment. I love seeing her happy and her happiness really took over me. I was the conductor and the caboose of the jigga train danced and danced until I was tired. I haven’t sweated out my hairdo and/or danced like that in heels since 2006. I needed that.

But more importantly, I just had a moment where I realized how much my family is still thriving. Two years ago, I didn’t know what we were going to do without my mom, but we’re still here — truly living and thriving. I’d like to think that she’s keeping us strong.

I really need to teach my bro how to properly take a photo with a CLEAN lens. LOL!

For April, I really just plan on remaining consistent with the goals that I’ve set in March. I’ve noticed the differences the changes have made and I’m definitely looking forward to how my life will continue to change for the better.

But for the most part, I still need to devote more time and effort to my financial well-being. My credit score has sky rocketed and it’s so amazing that all of my hard work and discipline is paying off. So now, all that’s left is to continue to remain disciplined and to also contribute to my savings.

I’ve also managed to land a few photo gigs, so I’m looking forward to the moments to get more exposure and experience.

I hope all is well with you all — Here’s to April! Let’s make the most of it.
