During the summer I’ve been able to gauge how rough the month was based on the number of books that I’ve had time to read. For this month, I’ve only been able to get through one book and it wasn’t even in physical form. Oh well.

Back to school is in full effect and we’re still trying to get our rhythm. Buses aren’t showing up on time, if they’re showing up at all. Physicals are needed for a certain date when practices are taking place, then those practices are canceled. And then they are randomly rescheduled. Days off to handle everything that you had to put aside for things that came up during the week still don’t get done. Days off aren’t so.. off.

I had a brief sulking moment. Because it seemed like as soon as I’d come up for some air and be able to breathe again, there was something else that snatched that breath right back. The good thing about all of this is that there are at least 10 days left that can be absolutely amazing.
