I am a mommy to Iyanna Khalan, my daughter and Imari Khadan, my son. I operate and conduct myself based on a set of principles and formalities that I have created and adopted. I was born and raised in Louisiana. However, please DO NOT refer to me as a country girl. I couldn’t be a better example of a girl from the country that is not country. There are times where I lay back and I chill and have fun but I know how to turn in on and off. Thus, distinguishes me from being that “small town girl with a small mind.” I’ve been living on my own since 18.5 yrs and I absolutely love it. I am a full time student at Southern University A & M College. I am currently a JUNIOR majoring in Computer Science Information Systems with a minor in Business Management. It is a constant struggle for me to maintain my focus on life but I do. I have realized that my struggle is not in vain and the things that I am going through are only temporary. I’ve learned over the years to always have a Plan C. Some cases, it’s just as safe and smart to have a Plan D. Regardless of how many plans that are created, I acquire the strength from wherever I can to put that plan into action.
