When I saw the pilot to Pretty Little Liars, I KNEW I would be addicted to this show. While I’m much older than these girls, suspenseful shows interest me. I dread when the 42 mins are up on Hulu and I absolutely hate waiting all the way until Tuesday only to have the bait dangled on the string AGAIN. To ease a little of my apprehension and anticipation, I’m hunting down the books.

I’ve located the first book and a few of the succeeding ones in my hometown’s parish. I’ll also have to renew my library card since I have NO idea where it is. Maybe it’ll also be a good idea to get the kids their own library cards. They love story time when I bring them to the libraries in my area.

Hell, even if I don’t find the books, I’ve embarked upon a few of the ebooks for half the price. It’s definitely a good investment for me.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager is also an addiction for me. Again, I cannot relate to having a child while in high school but I can definitely relate. I had both my children at the tender ages of 18 and 21, and I attend school. I can sympathize with Amy’s situation–how scared she was, how frustrated she gets, and finding a way to deal with it all.

So, I was browsing My Baton Rouge Mommy Blog and came across the entry where Disney’s Imagination Movers show will be filmed in New Orleans later on in June. Now, my kids LOVE Imagination Movers so I figured this would be a good deal and I could save enough money by the date and we could get really good seats. To my luck, this tickets are actually on sale for $.75 beginning at 10AM!

I’ve been watching the clock, I’ve set 3 different reminders on my computer, and I’ve been refreshing since 8:30AM. I am DETERMINED to purchase these tickets!

I forgot how much fun I used to have at the movies. The last movie that I saw was Avatar. Sad. Anyways, this movie was AWESOME! A lot of people were saying that the original one was better but since I wasn’t even born when the first version debuted in 1981, I couldn’t chime into the debate. Nevertheless, Greek Mythology intrigues me. I did my high school term paper on Hades and The Underworld and my English teacher loved it so much that she rewarded me with a 96. (I had a few grammatical errors that Microsoft Word didn’t catch.)

Besides all of that, my family and I are still attending the Sesame Street show on Sunday. Before the show, we’re going to Louisiana Children’s Museum in New Orleans since it’s free. (Thanks Target!) We’re all excited. I’ve even invited my parents along. We all haven’t been anywhere together in a while so I’d figured this would be nice.

As I mentioned, Spring Break for me is next week but it looks like I’ll be spending it working. I won’t complain since I adore my job and I’m due for a raise pretty soon. I’ve been here a year so it’s definitely due. Another reason I’m not complaining is because I’ve earned vacation time. I can still save and take some trips this summer. Not to mention, my calendar is literally FILLED with events and things I have to do for next week. It’s apparent that I just need to have a little getaway so maybe I’ll take an inexpensive trip to Mississippi and visit the IP Casino.

I’m still in the process of finding a theme that I actually like. Well, I found a theme but a lot of my plugins don’t work with it. If my site looks funny, that is the reason. LOL. I’m also trying to get around to commenting on a few blogs that I’ve read. Somehow, I’d just prefer to lay down. =)
