After getting back from Mexico about a month ago, life has been pretty busy. My mind being on vacation mode isn’t an excuse this time. My vacation ended the day I left Mexico with a few friends short than what I arrived with, but that’s a story for another day. I just don’t have the energy to edit the post I wrote on that whole ordeal. But it’s coming.. because it’s necessary. But I want to use this post as a means of reflection. While I’m enjoying a lazy Sunday today (because it’s been that type of week dealing with User Acceptance Testing), I thought back to last Sunday that ended my family’s winter vacation that I’m naming our Quad-State Tour. We live in Louisiana and got on the road on Friday to head to Atlanta, GA. The journey took us about 7 hours but it was quite eventful along the way. I went skydiving over the weekend and had tons and tons of fun. I couldn’t find anyone at the time to accompany me that wasn’t scared to death, so I decided to embark on the adventure solo. It was definitely one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life and I couldn’t wait to share it with people to provide some type of inspiration to conquer your fear and/or to live your life to the fullest by doing things that may scare you.
