A Week in Tennessee

A 10-hour drive led us to Pigeon Forge, TN for a week. A week spent in the mountains enjoying 10U baseball tournaments and most importantly, family. It was my first time visiting the Smoky Mountain Range and it was everything I thought it would be. Majestic. Vast. Ethereal. A beautiful reminder that I need more of this. Family Trekking: A Quad-State Tour.

While I’m enjoying a lazy Sunday today (because it’s been that type of week dealing with User Acceptance Testing), I thought back to last Sunday that ended my family’s winter vacation that I’m naming our Quad-State Tour. We live in Louisiana and got on the road on Friday to head to Atlanta, GA. The journey took us about 7 hours but it was quite eventful along the way.
