After being laid off for about 3 months (and severance payments ending in December), I have re-entered the World of the Employed last week. Things are progressing a bit fast, but I’m enjoying the ride and I must say that I am doing a pretty good job of balancing it all. The night before, I had prepared myself for my first day and organized everything so the grad student-to-instructor transition would go smoothly.
