This weekend I visited Pensacola, which is by far one of my favorite spots to get away to. It’s never too crowded and I don’t have to worry about dealing with the spontaneity of my peers when it comes to Spring Break, Memorial Day, and holidays where college students foolishly free themselves. I’ve always liked the beach ever since I was a little girl.

I was accompanied by two of my friends which worked out in my favor being as though I got to sit in the back of my own car for the very first time since I first purchased it. It feels pretty good to just sit back and enjoy the ride and allowing someone else to be responsible for getting me to my destination.

It was hot, but it’s not an exhausting hot, mainly because of the winds that are so nice enough to stop by and give you a cool welcome. It was a lovely, lovely Monday. A Monday with friends, a breathtaking and soothing environment, and awesome food. I haven’t had a Monday like that in a while.

Your pictures — OMG! I know at one point you mentioned that you take pics on your phone…that CAN’T be the case here! I mean those ferris wheel pics are so clean and crisp! Beautiful!

Glad you had a great time at the beach! I think everyone I know spent Memorial Day weekend at the beach. Made me want to go!

It’s great to hear your Memorial Day was so beautiful. Being from South Carolina, I am such a beach girl. I feel such a sense of oneness whenever I’m on one so I definitely get what you mean, especially since you mentioned that Pensacola isn’t too crowded because for those who don’t know, a crowded beach isn’t the same as one with fewer souls on it. The food looks yummy and I’m glad you were able to spend time with your friends and enjoy the backseat of your car for the first time haha, awesome!
