Things have been extremely quiet here at est, but all for good reason. While I was just perusing the web fantasizing about houses and pinning them to my pinterest board, I came across a property that looked decent, met with the leasor, and just like that, I signed a new lease for a townhome. As I’m writing this, I didn’t realize things were happening as fast as they were and before I knew it, I had half of my apartment packed.

My kids and I have outgrown our 982 sq. ft apartment. My daughter has recently turned 8 and it’s about time that she has her own space. I hadn’t planned on moving so soon, but after seeing the place, a part of me felt as if the place was perfect for us. A yard, front and back, 1600 sq ft for us, and did I mention a yard? Yea. It even took a little convincing from a few people to go ahead and just make the move. To them, it was a no-brainer once they saw the pictures and heard how huge it was for the price.
I guess sometimes it takes a neutral party to help you consider your options or to tell you that “you’re insane if you don’t get what you want.” My sister and one of my best friends are blunt and that’s exactly why I asked for their opinion.
So as you can see, I’ve been extremely busy packing and then trying to put up a Christmas tree amongst the clutter. This will be our last Christmas here and 2014 will be spent in a new environment. We’re happy and excited!
