I’ve been taking the last few days of 2016 to reflect. It’s been an interesting year to say the least. There were a few plot twists that I could have definitely done without, but I’m trusting that I’ve endured all that I have for a reason. And while that reason isn’t really sure to me just yet, I’m being patient and trusting this process. I guess I can say that for the duration of 2016, it’s been a lot of trusting on my end. Trusting that God will always slide through with an upgrade.

To be honest, 2016 wasn’t all bad. I’ve had a ton of good moments. And although 2016 dealt its final blow that resulting in me remaining in the states, I’m okay with that. Especially since it was a conscious decision made on my part. And having the opportunity to travel as much as I did last year, perhaps I actually needed the break. Not to mention, I could get a jump start on some projects around the house and a much needed purge.

Monumental things are in motion for me for 2017: business ventures, new countries, new experiences. I’m nervous, scared, excited, welcoming, and ready for it all. I genuinely hope that 2017 brings all of you joy, prosperity, peace, and love. Here’s to new experiences, new love, new relationships, new everything. Forward!

Happy New Year! 2016 was a pretty good year for me in hindsight. I guess the best way of looking at a new year is to draw the positives from the previous one.
