I promise you that my blog has not turned into a photoblog, but I do enjoy photography and I love incorporating pictures in my blog entries. I just wanted to share my latest thrift haul, since I don’t do that often. Actually, I’ve never shared a thrift haul even though thrifting is one of my favorite things to do. I’ve decided to join the link party with Shana and Adam over at Colorblind.

I don’t thrift a lot, but I usually thrift at different stores around the area when there are sales, if I’m not online in a bidding war on eBay or ThredUp. A few thrift stores offer discounts on certain days for being a student while and others offer discounts on certain days depending on the clothing.

I remember tagging along with my mom while she scoured the thrift stores. There weren’t so many back then. One of things I loved about my mom was her way of being fashionable all while being frugal. Considering most of my generation feels as though wearing second hand/thrifted clothing is yucky, I’ve always loved it, especially if it’s going to save me some dollars. I’m far from a fashion guru, but I love clothing and I’d wear anything that looks nice, especially if the price is right.

I love your photography- keep it coming! I’ve tried several thrift stores but I can never find anything that I like. It might be the area I was looking in perhaps. I aminly look for stuff for my son. Since he’s so little and grows very fast, I don’t want to spend a lot of money on clothing for him but again it never works out.

You seem to be really good at finding things at the thrift store. I recently went and found a cute bag but it’s fun when you go with friends and saving money is my favorite thing!
