It’s finally beginning to feel like Autumn here in Louisiana as temps are steadily lowering. We’re still having a few days where we need air conditioning, but I’m enjoying these days nonetheless.

So since it finally feels like Autumn, after reading Vanessa’s post over at Grace and Gratitude about sweaters, and since The Neighbourhood’s Sweater Weather is constantly in rotation on XM (which I love btw!), I pulled down my box of goodies because soon enough, it’ll be cool enough to wear them.
I went thrifting for a few more to add to my collection of cable knits, thick cardigans, wools, and boyfriend sweaters/oversizeds. I especially love oversized sweaters. I love how comfortable and warm I am when I wear them. I promised myself that I’d only look for sweaters with color, but it didn’t really turn out that way. There weren’t really any sweaters that appealed to me other than these.
To compensate for the lack of color in the sweaters I found, I found a lovely sweater with a lion print. This is by far my favorite thrifted find ever–probably because I look like a lion when my hair isn’t straightened.
It’s ok to agree that I look like a lion.. with a mane. LOL! I love that I do. I even wore the sweater as a part of my Halloween costume.
Fitting right?

December 1, 2013 at 4:12 pmI love all of them! You have great taste. I’m mostly into pastel colors myself. I don’t really prefer wearing anything bright.

December 9, 2013 at 9:27 amTotally giving me sweater envy right now! I love sweaters and your finds are amazing! Lol you do look like a lioness and I completely get why you love being called that, although my hair doesn’t make me look lionesque anymore, I love that term as well, I think it embodies many of our sisters. Anyway, that was an awesome Halloween look you had too. Very fitting indeed 🙂

December 19, 2013 at 1:49 pmI know, I’ve been trapped in the summer world. See, here in Hawaii, we don’t see seasons change like how you would in the states. But, we do get cooler weather instead of snow and such. It rains a lot more. So, that’s what we’ve been experiencing lately. I actually end up wearing my PJ’s all morning because it’s freezing buns. Now, freezing i mean early 70’s *Rolls eyes* hehe.
BTW, the sweater & hair = halloween costume 😉 heckacute.
