I think I’ve come to terms with the fact that I may be a plant hoarder. Or perhaps I’m just a plant lover with hoarding tendencies. Whatever the case, whenever I’m in the store, I ALWAYS make it a point to check out the household plants and convince myself that my house needs more of them. Right now, I have 10 plants with desires to add a few more. I’d love to have IG #jungalow vibes, but I won’t even put myself through the stress of trying to keep up with that many.
I was inspired by one of my IG friends to write my post because we’ve been talking a lot about plants lately. She had a plant for a long time and never knew the name of it or how to care for it. When I posted a similar plant, we’ve been plant sisters ever since. I am not a plant guru by any means. The only tips I can provide is what’s on the plant sticks and cards that come with your plants, sunlight, water, and a little conversation (my grandmother swore by this). Anyway, here are some of the plants that I have in my home as of now.
I will be adding a few more like Mother-in-Law’s tongue for the front entryway, an aloe for the bathroom, another bird of paradise palm while my other one recovers, and probably another large peace lily.

July 12, 2018 at 10:08 amSO BEAUTIFUL!!! I want to be a plant hoarder too! I absolutely love them in my house. I had a majestic palm that I picked up last year that was growing beautifully and then the last month I noticed that it looked like it was being cut off and I could not figure it out. Well, come to find out my cat was eating away at it! I was so upset and I had to get rid of it (this week!) because I couldn’t stop him from eating it. Once I have a plan, I’ll get another one because I loved it in my house and it actually thrived! I have other plants around too but nothing that was as big and luscious as that one! Haha, obviously I have a lot to say on this top!

July 12, 2018 at 5:16 pmThose are beautiful! I’m a plant hoarder as well. Every time we’ve moved, I’ve left plants at the libraries where I’ve worked. I love going back to visit them as much as the people. I told The Hubs that we’re filling this house with plants as soon as we close.
Side note, I adore the pots that you’ve used. So eclectic and just my style.
