Life is really moving. Truthfully speaking, I woke up this morning unaware that today was Wednesday. I’m still living in a Monday. Even though life is moving quite swiftly for me, I am not complaining one bit. I like being busy. I like deadlines and crunch times. Early morning meetings and taking 2-hour lunches if needed. This weekend, my siblings and I decided to head down to Nawlins for the weekend to celebrate my sister’s birthday and my recent assistantship. After literally spending all day at school on Friday, when Southern University doesn’t even have class, I was so beat that I really didn’t have the energy to even want to go. Today was any other day to me. I woke up, got my children ready for school, ran a few errands, and returned home to relax before I had to head to campus for my class. I was supposed to give my chair a call about an assistantship that I hadn’t even heard back from and had pretty much dismissed it. And that was fine.
